Returns Policy?
The same return policies apply at KIDS CHANGE UP as for normal shopping. We do ask that you make contact with us within 7 days please to arrange. Shoppers are covered by the Consumers guarantee Act and the Fair Trading Act.
What we do ask is that shoppers and sellers bear in mind the nature of second hand shopping which is paying less for items because they are used. Our 'rating system' is still subjective but it is our attempt to provide a fair assessment of the condition of an item and therefore to price appropriately.
It is in our best interests to do this so that our customers do not receive surprises but again please remember that it is subjective and one persons idea of wear is bound to differ from another.
We do not accept returns for 'change of mind' but MAY consider exchanges at our discretion.
We don't provide free postage for returns but you might negotiate a swap with us if you have other items you want to list or you have made a purchase including a delivery fee.
Privacy?
Customers are covered by the Privacy Act. This means we only collect information we need and that we take every precaution we can to keep your information private. Our website uses SSL and our commerce partner Stripe also uses advanced security options. We actually only need to record your NZ government issued identification to fulfill anti-money laundering legislation requirements, your name, some contact details and your bank account details for payments if you opt for this.
Will my items be looked after properly whilst listed with KIDS CHANGE UP?
All reasonable care will be taken by us while we hold your items to maintain the condition they arrive in and prevent any damage or loss. Please note though, customers do leave items with us on the understanding that they accept the risk of loss, damage or theft however unlikely.
We do reserve the right to occasionally use items promotionally. This is usually advantageous to the customer.
Problems with your purchase?
Please just contact us at the first sign you are experiencing a problem with either your order or sale process. Our whole ethos is to be efficient and easygoing. We are in this not just as a business but to contribute to the circular economy of our awesome community.
